Aladdin is a timeless tale that continues to appeal to audiences over a long range of time. The continuous enhancement and modifications made to the tale make it more presentable to people of all time periods. Aladdin as a tale has come a long way from it unsatisfactory structure in Arabian nights to its overwhelming moral as a Disney presentation. Aladdin conveys messages of honesty, because genie advises Aladdin to “tell her (the princess) the truth” and self-acceptance because although everyone calls Aladdin a “street rat “he really is a “diamond in the rough”, such a message allows readers and viewers to feel proud of who they are. Aladdin has nothing and goes to having everything but isn’t content with his life until he is honest and accepts his true identity, which in the real world is major concern. Children, nowadays have low self-steam and believe that wealth (being a princess) ca n buy self-satisfaction however Aladdin coveys that only being yourself and accepting who you are can be truly satisfying. Therefore, Aladdin remains and will always be a timeless tale.
